Accounting Job Opportunities Disclaimer: "List subject to change without notice". ___________________________________________________________________ Accounting Job Department Positions Accountant II (LOCATION: Huntsville, AL) Accountant II (LOCATION: Huntsville, AL) POSITION OBJECTIVE: MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: General–includes but is not limited to the following: • Month-end closing procedures including the preparation and posting of journal entries • Provide financial services for all retail and recreation facilities • Create Profit and Loss statements for retail and recreation facilities • Provide recreation fund accounting to calculate recreation expenses owed to base and retail profits to be transferred to the recreation fund. • Complete ledger account reconciliations in a timely and acceptable manner. • Work with cash office, retail, and recreation facility managers to make sure finance gets correct information and backup each month and to facilitate corrections as needed. • Reconcile General ledger accounts each month. • Additional responsibilities as required. Operational: • Account analysis JOB KNOWLEDGE: • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must have good analytical skills • Team player, self-starter and well organized • Proficiency in MS Excel required EXPERIENCE: • 2 years work experience in accounting EDUCATION: • BA or equivlalent SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: • POSITION OBJECTIVE: MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: General–includes but is not limited to the following: You and authorized dependents, if any, traveling to Kwajalein are required to have a valid passport in your possession prior to departure.
