Security Specialist (Full time;Unaccompanied)
- As the KRS Company Key Control Officer (KCO), primary responsibility includes the oversight and administration of the KRS Key Control Program as follows: maintenance/updating of key control procedures, providing support & assistance to approximately 75 departmental key control officers relative to implementation of key control program at departmental level, conducting self-inspections of KRS departmental key control programs.
- Responsibilities also include administration of key control education program to include generating training materials and providing key control training to KRS departmental key control officers.
- Essential functions of position also include providing administrative support to KRS Locksmith operations to include oversight and administration of Lockshop work order process (prioritizing work orders, scheduling appointments with customers, tracking work order status, closing work orders, etc), updating & maintenance of Lockshop key database, ordering of Lockshop supplies, and oversight of facility rekey projects.
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Required
- Administrative background, excellent organizational, communication (verbal & writing) skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Powerpoint)
Desired
- Experience with database work, using KEAMS, and Key Control Officer experience a plus.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Required: 2 Years Administrative
- Required: High School Diploma
OTHER SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- You and authorized dependents, if any, traveling to Kwajalein are required to have a valid passport in your possession prior to departure. You and your dependents must maintain a current passport during your stay on the island.
